Frequently Asked Questions:

Q- How can I purchase your photos?
A
- That really depends on which photos. If they are event photographs like youth football, baseball, etc. then just click up on the gallery section for all the information. If the photos you are looking for have already been removed then just go to the contact page and tell us what you are looking for. If you are looking for Major or Minor League baseball photos they cannot be purchased by the general public unfortunately. We are hoping to get them available through a licensed company however as of right now that is not available. Publications must contact Mike before usage.

Q- What payment methods are accepted?
A
- All major credit cards are accepted in both the gallery and on the products page (both of these are secure sites for safety of your credit card information). We have also set up a way to pay by check or money order. For all details please visit the event gallery.

Q- How's the quality of photos from the on-line store?
A
- Recently we switched over to Exposure Manager as our on-line photo service for many reasons, most of all the quality of prints. Some basic information...
  • Quality - Photos on-line are low resolution. Photos ordered are printed in a photo lab on Fujicolor Crystal Archive professional photographic paper using Fuji Frontier printers, processed through professional Fuji Hunt Chemicals. The archival quality of this process is 50+ years, before fading may occur.
  • Cropping - Upon order all photos are cropped to best fit the print size selected. The gallery previews may be cropped closer to spotlight the player or possibly set farther back than the actual print.
  • Coloring - Upon order all photos are color corrected for the best quality prints.
Q- Can I get a digital file e-mailed or a CD of images?
A
- Unfortunately that service is not available for several reasons. The first is print quality, most places like the local one-stop shop that has a one hour lab, do not know how to handle professional quality images. They have fully automated systems that cannot match the lab we use, or even come close to it in all honesty, which results in very poor prints when they should not be. The second reason is because we have no control of where the photo goes and what is done to it which can result in several problems. Only media outlets are allowed digital files, sorry for the inconvienence.

Q- Where do most of your photos get published?
A
- Mike gets published frequently in Baseball America, USA Today Sports Weekly, Topps Trading Cards, Just Minors Trading Cards and Tri-Star Trading Cards as it says on the top banner. Photos have also appeared on baseball cards from Donruss and Upper Deck along with a few music magazines (Music Outlook, Realrocker, Metal Maniacs, etc.) and in about six CD's (Dropkick Murphys "Sing Loud, Sing Proud").

Q- Will you photograph my event?
A
- This depends on when the event is and what type of event. Obviously Mike shoots mostly sporting events however has shot weddings, modeling shots, etc. He has a commitment to professional baseball during the spring and summer and to coaching during the off-season which sometimes makes time tight. If it can be put on our schedule he will do my best to shoot your event, if not then we know a few other great photographers who might be available.

Q- How much does it cost?
A
- This is very dependent on where the photo shoot is to take place. Currently we do not have a studio so all shoots are on location. We are in the process of puting together a basic day fee that should be posted here soon along with other information including photo packages.

Q- My son plays for the _______, do you have any photos of him?
A
- Please visit the contact page and send their name, team and your relationship to the player in question.

Q- How come I cannot right click and copy the pictures on this site?
A
- Right click has been disabled just for that reason. Photos on this site carry a copyright and cannot be used without permission. At this time we do not sell digital files of any kind. Only licensed companys have access to digital files.

Q- What equipment do you use?
A
